  • My number one pace for drinks in Madison! This place is amazing, clean, modern ambience, nice decor really fitting with the theme. This trendy lounge is located on State St and definitely stands out, their staff is very friendly and helpful when you are having trouble to decide what you would like to drink. Their selection with as many as over 400 different types of whiskys is astonishing. I like their rotating signature cocktails, especially Tequila Mockingbird and the Van Dyke, depending if you are in the mood for spicy or sour, or both. I like that this bar does not feel to be overly crowed even on really busy weekend nights. You can still breezy and the floors stay sticky free. I like their booths, they are cozy and still high enough for you to have the perfect view of the long bar and their TVs. This is very important for special events such as this year's Monday nights Bachelorette showings. I've had the pleasure to be at one of their Monday nights this Summer. Their specialty drink - a crisp rose, chilled to perfection, just made my long day a special one. A group of six of us had the best night, we'll definitely be back. I have to give this place +5 stars on bathroom cleanness - this place does a good job in keeping them clean and stocked with toilet paper. A definitely must visit when in Town if you are a tourist, and if you are a local what are you waiting for? You should definitely go! 'Til the next time Cask & Ale crew!
