| - When a liquor store makes me feel classy, you know I'm in love. One of my coworkers suggested we stock up for the night at Total Wine. I assumed it was just a close option near her house, but I was wrong. A ten minute drive on the freeway, a few stoplights later, and we arrive at Total Wine. I asked myself, why bother to drive out so far when we live in a city where every corner oozes cheap liquor. Stepping in, I now know why.
It's heaven. Not just liquor heaven - beer and wine heaven. If there was ever a nuclear fallout, I know where I am shacking up. Aisles upon aisles of various wines, hard alcohol, and beer makes me a happy girl. They even had a rare wine one of my dear friends in Seattle fails to find anywhere but home. Looking at the prices for this mecca of intoxication, everything seems reasonably priced - if not, cheap. The employees were very accommodating, making sure to check up on us every so often.
Perhaps it's a good thing I don't live in Henderson. With Total Wine around, I might have become an alcoholic.
