| - When my wife, a Filipina, first came to the USA, she made lots of friends in the Filipino community here. At one of the many Filipino parties we attended one of the other Filipinos told us about a Filipino restaurant in Phoenix that had yummy authentic Filipino foods. Needless to say we gave Casa Filipina a try. We are so glad that we did. My wife loves their traditional Filipino foods and as an American I enjoy them too. Although Casa Filipina is an hour drive from where we live, my wife and I, along with our friends, visit Casa Filipina regularly. Trust me it is worth the trip. Did I tell you about their yummy baked goods? Or their halo-halo desert topped with ube ice cream, which is always a treat. When you first walk in the door, be sure to look into the glass bakery cases to your right. If you are like me your mouth will be watering before you ever get to your table. Every time we visit we leave with freshly baked pandesal and siopao. Tony and Tess, the owners of Casa Filipina are friendly too. We just love them. Stop in, try the food, meet the people and, like us, you will be coming back again and again. It's just more fun at Casa Filipina. Maybe we will see you there.
