| - I will never (cross my heart) go to any other car washes again. Wash Wizard is the best car wash I've ever been to and I have been to nearly all of them in the East Valley. This place really is unique for several reasons.
1: It's all hand wash, no automated brushes here, gentle on paint and better cleaning.
2: The staff are all very attentive to detail and not in a rush to push out cars in a hurry like Danny's just two blocks away. These guys are efficient and thorough.
3: Very little wait time, I'm usually there a 1-2 minutes after the car ahead of me and the same for the car behind me so #2 is even more so as they spend more time washing/drying.
4: The price, considering #1!!! $5 with ASU student card, $6 without!!!
5: The track your car sits on as it goes through is like a conveyor belt, so those with chrome wheels or wide wheels don't need to worry about scratching like at a normal car wash.
6: The owner is always around and cares about the customers.
7: My favorite - by the time you're out and dried, about 95% of the water is off the car, compared to about 70% dry like with Danny's (#2).
8: Simple menu; a basic wash, premium wash and a spray wax detail.
The downsides:
1: Air fresheners are "meh", just little rubber things you slide in your A/C vents, and none of the usual scents.
2: If it's busy (haven't seen such a day yet), I can imagine they have to push cars out a little faster and they don't have a large staff.
