  • I have been a customer of modern nails for a little over a year, and during that time, I have experienced the service diminish gradually to a point where I will no longer go there for my mani-pedis (even though I live right next door and it is EXTREMELY convenient for me). The first time I had a less-than-acceptable mani-pedi, I shrugged it off given my overwhelming positive experiences. After 3 times, however, I just can't justify giving them any more chances. My manis don't even have the polish cover the whole nail. My pedis there don't have even polish, do not cut my cuticles hardly at all and just paint over them. The price is still reasonable, however the product no longer is, which creates the mismatch. It used to be a great nail salon. Now it is sub-paar.
