  • Still my favorite salon!! I love that I have found a salon in the area that I love. Warm and friendly staff, water cooler (which is super important to me...facts) and coffee/tea station and they actually keep appointments! Some of the major reasons I have not consistently patronized a salon are long waits and little to no professionalism. Xander salon is the opposite! When I walk into a salon, I love feeling like my business is valued and I definitely get that when I come here and I walk out of this salon feeling like my money was well spent. On each and every visit, I am greeted with a smile and warm hello. Destiny has been doing my hair and she is an absolute joy! Super knowledgeable and friendly. Her styles are creative and she make hair care a priority which is important to me. I love the way she interacts with her colleagues and I can't say enough how professional everyone is. You will hear you typical beauty salon banter but is so friendly and makes me feel welcome every time I come in. I usually get a blow out and trim and have gotten curls for special occasions.... I am looking forward to Destiny doing my crochet braids, although I'm not looking forward to the price. I think $175 is a bit high for that service but I also think customer service goes a long way so I am willing to pay a less than competitive price. I also can't wait for my next special occasion to get my makeup done by the artist in the salon. I can't recall her name but I have seen her clients walk out looking like a page out of InStyle or Essence mag. She does great work and I can't wait to see what she can do to me! Great salon with a great team!
