| - I read the good reviews and went in expecting a good experience. It didn't happen. I will say, Dr. Staci Garner is very nice, very sweet and has a good heart. She's on your side, the side of the patient, from the beginning. Because she is sweet and kind-hearted, she has had to put into place a bulldog, a 'receptionist/finance-lady' who comes in to close the (up)sale when the kind-hearted dentist is unable to. Be forewarned, if you decide to stick to your guns and insist (politely!) that you'd like the treatment YOU would like to have for YOUR OWN TEETH, a treatment the doctor herself agreed to give you (and which just happens to be the least expensive option), the receptionist/finance-lady will be quick to turn into a snide, sarcastic, mean, bully. She will let you know loud and clear, actually passive-agressively, that she is not happy that she couldn't convince you to pay more. It's a sad sight to see a salesperson have a meltdown in front of your eyes when they realise you're not falling for their best sales pitch. This woman's attitude was absolutely reprehensible, unprofessional and inexcusable and solely because of her disgraceful behavior I will not be going back to Canyon Pointe Dental. Whoever hires staff there needs to have a good talk with this woman and let her know that it is not acceptable to channel your inner highschool b**ch just because you are frustrated with yourself and your own inability to upsell and close the deal. My suggestion? Try to remember the human factor. It's not all about the money. It's about good customer service so the customer will WANT to come back and more likely spend the money.
