Lived here over a year now. Never had trouble until I decided to transfer to smaller apartment. The new Weidner staff have been nice but there's been a lot of misinformation with regard to my new lease and the information I was given from staff. However, they have upheld what they've promised me, just too much misinformation. New apartment is nice but lots of dog feces and cigarette butts on the grounds, trash in the trees. Ick. Like living across the mall for quick access to shopping. Neighbors... not so nice though, not considerate with their stereo and unkind in general. My daughter and her boyfriend also transferred to larger apartment and they've been without a/c their whole first week. In Phoenix! In July! Even after several attempts to fix. I think maintenance is overwhelmed, they're nice but they promised to fix the lighting over my stairs and it's still not safe either. Their apartment has lots of issues and their neighbor's trash ends up on their front porch. Amanda in the office seems to like giving residents a hard time and gave them a notice for something not their fault stating that a neighbor "complained". They've only been there a week! With no a/c to boot! My daughter complained about the upstairs neighbor's trash on her doorstep and they didn't get a "complaint". My parents also lived in a different Weidner property for at least 3 years . They were abused by the office staff and neighbors left full trash bags in front of their door. They are in their 70s and Weidner jacked their rent up so high they had to move. Weidner will not work with them making them pay a full month's rent even though they are vacating the first week. So, they have to pay rent at two places. Moving expenses they can't afford. They're on limited income and Weidner would not help them. Would not recommend a Weidner property to a friend. I think all apartment owners are like this though. No kindness or compassion. Sad.
