  • I waited until the last possible minute to hire someone to clean my home. After months of 'just getting by' followed by a pretty big house party, I figured it was time to give in. I called a few companies to price things out, and it turns out that at $95.00 for 4 hours, Homestead was reasonable. The catch is that you have to buy all of your own cleaning products. Fair enough. Thirty dollars later, I'd purchased some cleaning products, a mop and bucket and a duster. The woman who came to the house did a stellar job. She was punctual and worked really hard to make things spotless. I felt badly having someone do my dirty work, but, hey, maybe it's not such a terrible way to make money. You can request the same person everytime if you want. I've priced out various services and Homestead is definitely at the lower end of average. They did an excellent job. I'll definitely use this service again.
