| - We came to this buffet back in 2010 and I thought it was magical. The food was so good - totally amazing for a buffet! While we have been back to Vegas many times since then, and have eaten at various buffets, we never had the chance to try this one again until our recent trip, where we stayed at the Bellagio.
We arrived on a Friday night, and once we got settled into our room and made it downstairs, it was around 7:30. We were happy that there was not too much of a wait. We were seated within 20 minutes. One member of our party was in a wheel chair, and the table we were seated at was kind of in the middle of everything.
The food was good, but nothing spectacular like I remembered. Some of the variety was different than some other buffets, like beef stroganoff with super tender beef. Other than that, nothing really stood out. I will note that the cost was not exorbitant, something like $40pp. My hubby liked the crab legs, and for that price, it was a bargain.
I asked my hubby about the difference between the last time we came and now. Maybe I thought it was grander than it really was back then. Or maybe I've had so many nice meals in the past 6 years, buffet and not, that it takes more to impress me? However, judging by other reviews, it looks like maybe it's just not the same as it used to be.
We would go back, but I'd like to try Bacchanal or the Wicked Spoon first!
