| - I absolutely love Urban Barn. If I had to explain to people what my home decor "look" is like, I'd simply forward them a link to Urban Barn. It's classy, affordable, with accents of ironic humour (doghead buddhas, what?)
The salespeople here are friendly and attentive, but not suffocating in their attention. That in itself is great, because I HATE when I'm just browsing and they keep hovering around asking if I need help! Sometimes, I just want to stare at an item and imagine what kind of girl I'd have to be to pull off a certain item!!!
My gripe is that every purchase I've made at Urban Barn has been fraught with some sort of issue. I bought the Lola Accent table in Grey, but had to order it in since they had none in stock. No biggie, I'll pick it up next week. I pick it up and check the box, labelled "Grey", and when I get home to open it up, it's White. GRRR, call, reorder, pickup. They gave me 15% off my purchase for my trouble. The second issue I had was when I wanted to order a SECOND grey table. This time, this Urban Barn told me that the UB in Vaughan actually had the grey in stock, so I wouldn't have to wait a week to get the Grey one in. I go to the Vaughan one, and realize that they had it only as a floor model, and they refused to sell it to me......ARGHHH So I go BACK to this one, and complained about my experience. I got another 15% off for my trouble.
All in all, I think this UB deals well with their customer experiences, but need to tighten up their ship a bit more. Of course, I'll still keep going, because I loveeee their look!
