Came on a Tuesday evening for their 50 cent wing night. It was pretty busy even after 9pm and I was surprised at how small the space on the main floor was. It was definitely hustling and bustling with lots of locals, drinking $4 beer specials and taking advantage of the humongous wings that came out on each plate.
I ordered one pound of wings with spicy korean sauce. Not going to lie, but these are the biggest drumsticks I have ever seen in my life. I thought that the meat was too tough, and over battered. Although there was a nice kick to the sauce, there definitely was not enough of it. Overall, a little dried out and left me with a "at least it was wing night" kind of feeling.
My friend ordered the nachoes, which came out with different coloured chips, loaded with cheese, tomatoes and green onions. I was happy to see that everything was well covered and nothing was missed. The platter was huge, leaving me to bring it home for next day's meal.
I think the patio would be great in the summer. And a great place to watch the hockey playoffs on the big screen. Oysters on Friday and Caesars on Sundays will always be good days to stop in.
