| - Thought I'd give this place a try, and I'm happy I did.
At first, when my friends and I walked in, we had some conflict with one of the opticians there due to his terrible attitude. Luckily, another one of the opticians (never got her name) heard my friend drop f-bombs and asked what was wrong. She was already dealing with a customer, but paused to get us some proper service. She immediately connected us with Small Ivan (not the owner) -- the best optician there. Honestly, I'm glad the first guy we encountered there was a bit of a shitter, because otherwise, we never would have met Small Ivan (for reals).
I give this place a 5-star review only because of the excellent customer service received from Small Ivan. Not all staffs there are friendly so if you're going to give this place a try, ask for Small Ivan. He's very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. I purchased glasses from him a couple of times now.
Yo but seriously, this man needs a raise. I don't think I would have spent 3k there if it wasn't for him. He's the real MVP.
(The 3k was me burning through my HSA so it wouldn't expire LOL.)
Oh yea, and they have great selections for East Asians with low nose bridges like myself.
Lastly, one thing I would suggest to this location is to not greet new customers with 'are you claiming under insurance?'. It gives off an awkward vibe because:
1. Hello?
1.5. Just looki--
2. Bye.
I can understand that they don't want to waste our time, but it also comes off as 'I don't want to waste my time with you'.
An NPC on GTA Vice City once said, 'no money? no funny, honey, bunny'. I don't know where I'm going with this so I stahp.
