  • The Zoo is and will always be one of my favorite places to visit. Today's visit was no exception and included somewhat of a surprise. For some reason, I've never ventured any further than the sea lions; however, today I took that turn and walked into (not literally, or I wouldn't be writing this) alligators, crocodiles, snakes and beavers. It was just an awesome visit. All this time I missed out on a part of our zoo that I didn't even know was there. For lunch, we had the hand cut fries with cheese and they were very good and the prices were fair. I'm sure I could write about all of the animals we disturbed today but why, it's the zoo! I'll leave it to you to visit and have your own experience. I'll post some pics to entice you but you really should visit if you haven't been in a while. The folks at the zoo do a really good job in keeping everything running smoothly. It felt like there were about 50 billion people there today, but that just means they are doing something right!
