I am not surprised with the other review that I see on here. Please shop around for other bikes before blowing your money on one of these super cheap bikes. All the parts will bend, brake or even melt (IN Phoenix) and the batteries only get you half of what the guys claim. It is very challenging to get a hold of these guys and when you take the bike in they just give you the run around and do as little as they can to fix any problems with the bike.
I had paid a $600 deposit and had a total of over $2000 to pay with tax for the biggest bike they had there. Since they told me the bike will go 40 miles on a single charge I drove all the way from 24th St and Thomas to downtown Mesa, which is only about 15 miles. When I got there the battery gauge read that the battery was almost dead. So I had to call a couple of friends to find a place to recharge. I was told that the battery would charge from empty to full in 5 - 6 hours. after about 7 hours the charge was still not complete, but I had to get home so I took off and the battery gauge said it was only 80% full. When I almost got home (I was about 2 miles away) the bike completely dies and I am stuck pedaling. I thought, well this will be a good chance to see how long it takes to charge from empty! I plugged in immediately around 8pm at night and let it charge through the night. I woke up at about 6am to see that it was still charging.
Next I went back to the shop about 3 weeks after purchase to get the brake light replaced and have the inside of the dash replaced since it crumpled from the AZ heat. I told them about how little distance I can get on a charge and they told me that maybe the battery was bad. I asked for a new battery and they were out and told me they would call when the next shipment came in. I said I will not make any payments until I get a new battery.
They NEVER called me, more things went wrong with the bike. Today they came with the cops and repossessed the bike and kept my deposit.
Clearly I got ripped off, please make sure this does not happen to you!
