  • First of all let me start off by saying that 'I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star' At first I thought I was getting a good deal with New Planet moving; but the day they were supposed to show up, NOBODY CAME. Our moving day was scheduled for Monday with a pickup of our items on Sunday. Nobody in the business notified us that they are closed on the weekends so there is no customer support the entire weekend. So my wife, family, and I had no clue what to do. I was called the next morning and said that they would be an additional day late.....This was unacceptable as I had taken a new job and needed to be across the country in a week. After threatening to just rent a truck myself they showed up....eventually (8 hours late after the re-negotiated time). To make matters worse, their arrival at our new house was 10 days late!!!! Our boxes were beaten and busted, some items were broken, and a box is still missing. We have called, emailed to get the box tracked but after 5 months they have even stopped responding to me! Save yourself major heartache, don't even consider this company.
