  • The YMCA is a great place for kids, they have a pool, kids' gym hours, and free child care. Memberships for families are really inexpensive as well. This is a great place for seniors, they do classes, events, and activities geared towards older folks, and offer discounted prices for their membership. I am not older, or a kid, but love this gym because of the sense of community/reciprocity. I also like that it's not busy or full of meat-head bros. I've never been harassed at the Y, unlike LVAC or other gyms. Family friendly atmosphere, very relaxed.
