| - I personally don't like the taste of macarons much. This is in large part because they're very sweet. That being said, I've bought these macarons twice now. I still haven't eaten one. I really should. I've given them away as gifts and each time I do, people have been overjoyed at them. They really are adorable, and at the price of 3/$10, the artistry makes it a fairly good deal. I mean, if I'm paying a few dollars a macaron anyways for the basic, round ones at other places, I might as well pay a little more and get the super cute ones here.
This is a slightly delayed review, but they had these Christmas cookie sets over the holidays that costed $22 and had 5 shortbread cookies and 2 macarons. Some of those shortbread cookies were the size of your typical gingerbread person. All in all, a very festive set and also a great gift to give away. While I was in line, I called my mom to ask if she wanted me to get another one so she could gift it away. She declined. I got into the car and showed her mine and then she wanted one too. Too bad we didn't want to wait in line again that day. Dec 23. The rush was mildly overwhelming. Thankfully, I had called in ahead of time to make my order.
All in all, a very cute treat.
