  • Woohoo. My other favorite brewery in Charlotte. I love these guys! I love the logo, the theme, the vibe and the beer. Win/win/win/win across the board. I can't begin to describe how much I love their Jalapeño Pale Ale, Fake Plastic Trees Hoppy Wheat, and their seasonal Saison. So I'll just leave it at that - get a flight of 4 or 5 when you visit, and you'll see what I mean! I brought the FPT cans home with me and have put them on a little beer altar to enjoy on a really special occasion, because I can't get this beer where I live (sad face). Fortunately, I live on planes and find myself looking for excuses to get back to Charlotte soon, so that I may enjoy ze beauty of the Birdsong once again. Gear is, per awesome logo, outstanding and I have both some hats and tee-shirts to prove it. I'm a sucker for a good theme (you can take the marketing major out of the marketing job, but you can't take the marketing...oh, you get the idea.) Come here. End of story. Also, the bartenders are incredible and recommend good alt breweries to hit up when they close (I'll leave it up to them to divulge their cool secrets).
