I am updating this after my last 3 experiences going down hill and the place needs a star removed.
The Good Parts:
The seats are the new recliner type that we're starting to see a trend for. I enjoy this feature not only for comfort, but for the ability to pick your seat and having it reserved for you.
Pricing for the actual movie are pretty reasonable. They are not trying to grab some more dough for the reclining seats like we see in other theaters.
The Neutral Part:
This could be a plus or a minus but they sell you super-pricey snacks (same as everywhere) but you fill your own soda and get your own butter on your popcorn, etc. This causes standing in line a couple of more times as you have to wait your turn to do those things after you have already waiting your turn to purchase them. Plus, you run the risk of getting sticky... Which in my case, I don't like. In other folks' case, it may be a bonus as they have a huge selection of drinks available in those all in one soda machines.
The Bad:
They put in this VIP snack line where they pull at least 3 people from before calling someone from the general population snack line. I understand VIP memberships, but give them their own lane like the HOV lane or something. It's not fair to patrons who are standing there watching three different teams of folks from the VIP line go and then maybe call upon some peasant from the general line. This has been my frustrating experience and actually started to sweat missing my movie start time after standing 15 minutes in line when I was in the third position of the regular line. I have decided it's time to smuggle in snacks so I don't have to deal with this. VIP membership is $15, two large sodas and a large popcorn are upward of $20...you just lost that profit equal to a VIP membership from one person not visiting the snack bar on one visit. I would suggest considering skipping the line to avoid being pissed off during your movie brooding about things...
