  • IF I COULD GIVE THIS BIKE SHOP MORE STARS I WOULD! I have a pretty nice beach cruiser that I had just bought. It needed a full spindal & bearing setup. I went in the store and purchased what I needed. The owner Mike said "bring your bike on in and I'll put it together for you. You have to have a special tool to do it. Free of charge." I thought that was pretty awesome of him to offer that. But wait it gets better. Well I ended up bringing in my bike. Polo and Bubba were working that day. Couple of great guys also. They noticed they couldn't thread my adjustable and fixed cups into the bottom bracket shell where the crank bearings and spindal go. The threads on the bottom bracket shell of the bike frame itself were severely stripped. More like thrashed and non existent. Its was practically smooth. Wow. Not good news. I had no idea because I had just bought the bike. I was pretty bummed out. They said "well we need to have Mike take a look at this. The man can maybe work some magic here." I said "cool", so I left the bike there overnight. I got a call the next day in the AM from the guys down there saying the bike was fixed. I went in to pick it up and spoke to Mike. He said he had to completely re-thread the entire bottom bracket shell, but it's good to go now. Have a nice one, and thanks for coming in! I was in shock for he didn't charge me. He stuck bye his word from the get go; eventhough it turned out to be more work than expected. I seriously got lucky that Mike was able to fix the problem, it was that bad. The guy is seriously an amazing bicycle mechanic if he was able to fix my problem. I wish I had pictures so you could see how bad it really was. I recommend this bike shop to anyone. No wonder they are voted and recognized to be one of the best bike shops in the valley. Thank you guys so very much! Mike once again thank you for sticking bye your word, hard to find people that still do that these days. I will for sure go nowhere else for my bike needs. Do yourself a favor and go see these guys. You won't regret it.
