We play Co-Ed softball at Chaparral Park. Prior to the Scottsdale league we played in Mesa. The fields we were used to were not the best, so when we got to Chaparral we were in Heaven. During the winter the grass get brown, but in the spring and summer the outfield is a lush green blanket. The dugouts are enclosed so when it sprinkles you don't have to get an umbrella to protect the scoreboard. The biggest complaint about the league is that they combine B and C leagues if they don't get enough teams in both, so the match ups can be very uneven and can cause some tension.
The rest of the park is very pretty. My girlfriends and I ride our bikes here on Saturday afternoons and there are always plenty of people out and about. The bike paths are really spacious so there is room for everyone.
