WAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! So grateful to find somewhere that has replaced my darling, inventive, hometown, thoughtful breakfast spot!!!!! Can't wait to bring my hubby back next week.
My friend and I went for Sunday morning brunch and a catch-up sesh. Service was indeed slow, but I feel that it was purposefully paced for the experience. Had it been a weekday, I would have been out of my mind with the tortoise speed of service.
I had the Mexican Spice Latte (sweet, with a deliciously gentle spice) and the Chicken Tinga Benny (spicy, but not painful, PERFECT eggs, plantain chips, magic!). My friend had the Cortadito and Arepa Benny and loved all of it.
Can't wait to keep coming back.... and can we discuss how adorable that block has become? I love this city and all the gems like Makers & Finders that keep popping up!
