This is a pretty small, nondescript place located off Carson Street--it doesn't seem like the kind of bar that would attract a lot of rowdy activity. So while I was somewhat surprised that it was featured on Guy Fieri's show, it later became more understandable as I saw the friendly and welcoming side of Nadine's. While the place is small, the servers are friendly, and the happy birthday messages behind the bar were fun. The food is great for the cost--everything below $6 or $7, and while the portions are small, they are more than enough and delicious at the same time. The roast beef was indeed sliced very thin and remained tender with the gravy and mash giving it ample flavor. I also enjoyed the country fried steak, another special of the day.
