| - I stayed next door at the Hampton Inn & Suites for three nights during the week. I ended up at Bahama Breeze on two occasions. Once was for lunch. The restaurant is HUGE but not overly noisy when busy, and the design of the restaurant is very appealing, giving you a hint of the islands. The staff was really friendly especially my waiter, Cory. He was extremely outgoing and went out of his way to make sure everything was to my satisfaction even though I was only having a salad and a lemonade. By the way, their lemonade is excellent! However, I couldn't give them more than two stars as I took an associate there for the late night happy hour a day later and the place seemed to have done a complete 180. The staff looked like they had been put through the wringer! Not a single one of them looked happy to be there, no smiles, no pleasantries, nothing, except for Cory, or course, who was still wisking around with a smile on his face! The food and drinks were OK, nothing special. The worst was the BATHROOM! It looked like nobody had come in to clean all day. Paper towels were overflowing the trash and scattered all over the floor. A fowl odor emanated, stains on the floor and walls, and the sink hardware looked like it had seen much better days. Oh boy, this place gave me high hopes at first but it let me down. I let the hotel staff know as well so they think twice about sending guest over there, especially during happy hours!
