$10 a night for short term parking! This is our go to spot when we take weekend trips. If we took a taxi from our house in Summerlin to the airport it would cost us over $60 one-way! I'm far from a mathematician, but we can all see that utilizing this parking lot is much more convenient and affordable.
The parking lot is organized with numbers and letters (ex: 2S) - make sure to make a note with details so that when you get back from vacation fun, you'll remember where you parked!
We see a lot of locals taking advantage of the overnight parking. This lot is equipped to carry a large capacity of vehicles, but the drawback is that it's uncovered; make sure you remove all valuables and anything that would get heat damage since the hot Vegas heat can be unrelenting.
There are a few shuttle stops on the lot, so you'll just want to get to the closest shuttle stop to your car (for example the "Green Shuttle Stop.") There's also a self service booth at these shuttle stops, where you can pay when you return from your trip. The free shuttle picks you up from any one of these shuttle stops and takes you to T1 - pay attention to where they drop you off at T1, that's also where they will pick you up when you need to get back to your car at the economy lot.
From what I recall, the shuttle comes by every 15 minutes. The driver will come out and load your large luggage into the back trunk area. You will be able to carry on your smaller items. The ride to T1 is brief, probably about 5-10 minutes. I don't ever see anyone do this, other than flight attendants and pilots, but it would be kind to tip your shuttle driver for his manual labor.
Safe travels!
