  • From day one the staff impresses. They are always helpful, always willing to do what it takes to help and work with you. The maintenance staff is always quick to fix things. The pool (open till Oct is a BIG plus) and gym are great and love our view off our porch. Property is always maintained and I see the staff constantly cleaning up outside. The apartments are pretty spacious and in a year we have had no major problems with anything. The disposal hung up one time, they were here within the hour to fix it. I have seen others complain of utility bills and yeah in the summer its seems to jump up and the A/C runs a ton, but honestly I have had much worse bills in other even newer apts. so it doesn't seem worse than expected. The only real negatives are ones the office can't always control; other tenants being lazy or inconsiderate. Way too many people are incredibly self-absorbed and expect you to put up with their kids running all day in the apt over you, not caring that you have to smell/step in/deal with their dog poop. Trash, parking, noise, some people just don't care and will make others suffer. That has always been a part of apt living, but the staff here will talk with you and do their best to see if they can help a situation. You pay a pretty penny and it keeps going up, but being able to walk to Birkdale Village, Kenton Place and just around the property are big pluses. Living off a main road is a pain at times, but more than made up for by the number of food and businesses that are so close. Nothing is ever perfect, but for my money this is as close as I have come in apt living.
