  • I have lived here for a little over a year and have seen huge changes to the complex. My apartment has been renovated which has made my Kitchen and Bathroom look much better. I am not sure what the person below means by roach infested since I have had a couple of the big water bugs outside at night which is to be expected in the wooded area where the complex is located. They are starting to do more community events which is great! My rent did go up after the first year and hopefully it doesn't go up more or I'm going to have to move. The trash fee for picking it up at your door doesn't really seem like it is necessary since they don't take your recycling as well and I always took my own garbage to the compactor before they started that service. The gym isn't bad but honestly more times than not I have went in at night and it's like a teenage hang out spot and has even smelled like weed a couple of times so I don't use it as much anymore. The dog park is great, but there is no enforcement of people picking up after their dogs so it gets really smelly and covered in dog poop quickly. I do love the walking path that goes around the complex as well! It's also super convenient to Target, Harris Teeter and Downtown Matthews. Overall it's a good place to start out at, but with rising costs I am not sure how this community will be able to stay as diverse as it is now.
