Good luck getting past the gestapo. I recently moved here from Chicago and was searching for a new primary care doctor. My provider listed Dr. Ziegler but, when I called, the woman who answered the phone was abrupt and said that he was not doing primary care. I then asked if I could make an appointment to see him about an arthritic shoulder since that was his declared specialty. She put me on hold for awhile, came back on and asked for my name and phone number. I could tell by her voice that she wasn't the least bit interested in me or my shoulder. She said she would call me back but never did. Dr. Ziegler may be good but I'll never know because I went to the second choice provider and got an appointment. I can only hope that the good doctor realizes that his business is being undermined by his not-so-friendly receptionist. Not a great way to build a practice.
