The only reason I am giving this restaurant 4 stars is because of the ambiance. This place is LOUD and cramped but the food and service make up for it in spades. The hostess did go the extra mile to get us at a full-sized table when asked to be moved - we were initially at a cocktail table much to our dismay. Two large people at a small round table isn't very comfortable. We did get attitude from our server when we asked to be moved to a larger table. But, again, the food more than made up for the bad attitude from the server. My husband and I went there on Friday, February 13th for an anniversary dinner. The wild mushroom risotto was amazing! We both had the flat iron steak and it was cooked to perfection. The charred carrot salad that the meat was served with was phenomenal. For dessert, we had a malted chocolate potted cream that was pretty much heaven. If you go, ask for a full-sized table when you make your reservations or you might find yourself at a small cocktail table. Reservations are an absolute must - you won't get a table on a Friday night without one.
