Home of BAIT and Switch. They advertise in their weekly flyer hamburger for 99 cents a pound. After we have spent time and money to get to the store, they say it was a misprint, that the correct price is $3.96. They had plenty of time to send out a followup flyer but did not. When I got home and called them about it was their manager stubborn. No negotiation, no compromise, nothing. She claimed that in the fine print (very fine, I have a high power magnifying glass that I use to read it and it is on a different page) they claim not responsible for typographical errors. Have they ever heard of proofreading? Do they care that a customer spends time and money to get to their store? In the past they had a chicken leg special for 38 cents a pound. They did not put out sufficient quantities thus I could not get any and asked for a rain check. Those who gave me the rain check said they would call me when it came in but there was no guarantee on the price.I never got a call and it expires in 30 days anyway.Funny, other stores honor the prices on their rain checks. Thus, their weekly flyer is only useful for l litter box liner. Shop elsewhere, That is what I will do and advise all others to do the same. Avoid them. They could of honored the price and lost a little over the week.By limiting quantities (no one would of objected to that) their loss would be small but the customer retention would be high. If their manager had a better attitude that would of helped as well. This is greed in action and bait and switch is a tactic that is all too frequent.
