Been here almost a year and truly can't wait for the lease to be up. My boyfriend and I tried really hard to like this place and were extremely excited moving in here but we should've listened to the yelp reviews. Don't get me wrong, location is perfect, outdoor areas are good for walking around and the amenities are great. Apartments aren't luxury, the models were definitely deceiving but regardless great place.
Onto the downfall of it all. We've gotten the cars towed. We are freakin tenants!!! We made a rent payment a day late which is something we knew so we were aware there would be a $50 dollar fine, got the confirmation for payment. Then I get a call that it didn't go through for whatever reason which made no sense cuz it was a direct charge with account and routing numbers, we even checked the numbers again, so now we had to pay another $25 NSF fee AND another $30 fee just to use our debit card instead. Completely ridiculous having two rent payment confirmations for the SAME month.
So then I lost my mailbox key and I went in to place an order for a new one which was $10 and only had my card on me, I was told I would be charged $30 to use my card.....WTF. I refused to pay that and she then said she could do it without the $30 fee to use a card. Makes no sense!! So we don't HAVE to be charged to use a debit card? Pretty much feel used now because I had to pay that fee to pay my rent with a card and now I'm being told it could be done without it?.....ok.
So they do this alarm check every so often where they come into your home whether you're there or not to check some alarm system that literally rings for 30 minutes while they check the entire building. I have never lived in a place where they will come in whether you open the door or not so it is rather annoying. Luckily we were here. We got another little letter with fees on it today so we'll see how that goes.
It's just not worth the headache.
