We got trapped in Cleveland for two nights after missing our connection. The airlines paid for our first night but we had to pay for the second. Luckily they give a military discount so we saved a little money on the inconvenient layover. The staff was overwhelming nice to me. I went to the small store looking for medication for my cough, but because I'm pregnant they didn't have anything I could take. The staff offered to make me tea with cough drops in it. I toughed it out with tylenol thinking we might get out of there the first night. By the second day, I had to get medicine so the hotel had the shuttle take us to target to get medication for me. I was pretty amazed by this because I have no idea what a taxi would have cost us.
We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and I have to say the buffet was quite a deal for about $12 because they custom made our omelets for us. Overall I wish we hadn't spent the weekend in Cleveland but the Sheraton was top notch as far as accommodations go.
