| - I love South Point for many reasons. First, the comfort of the bed is great. Most hotels have overly soft or rock hard beds, but these were of medium firmness. This is different than most hotels where I did not wake up with neck, back, or shoulder pain. The pillows are thin so you may want to bring your own, but they did have four for our King-sized bed. The comforter is thick and fluffy (warm). Our room had enough space for a loveseat, table, another table with two chairs, dresser with wall mounted television, and a desk. The rooms are large with plenty of room. Also they have blackout curtains which makes the room super dark at night (bring a nightlight if you need to move around in the middle of the night and don't want to turn on lights). Separate closet with suitcase stand, one sink bathroom with a large counter and lots of space, hair dryer, and a separate room for the toilet/shower area provided a lot of room. This was the King one bedroom/bed. The rooms are non-smoking.
For dinner I tried the Coronado's Cafe. George's salad was a huge salad stacked with candied pecans, avocado, blue cheese, craisins, and more!) The hotel has many different eating options and an updated movie theatre with reclining seats. Be sure to check out the coupon book the provide at the front desk. There are many savings at the restaurants as well as the movie theater. The only downside from my experience is that smoking is allowed in the casino.
This will be a primary stay for me in the future. Five star recommendation!
