  • Oh man where do I begin. The Athletic Club is by far one of my favorite things about Charlotte. I had been a member at the YMCA for a while and never really felt comfortable, but it is 100% opposite. Let me disclaim that this is a high end place, it is expensive but very very well worth it. The machines are very quality, and they do a great job maintaining them. Everyone you interact with at the super friendly - go there once or twice and they will know you by name. I have a locker and it is outstanding to have the laundry service - it enables you to go straight from work and not have to pack a gym bag. Overall, this place is wonderful, and if you are serious about getting in shape, this is the place for you!
