A great breakfast place! The place can use a make over, but I thought it was charming and you went back in time with the red and white checkered floors, and what looked liked original counter and green worn leather stools. The staff was nice and friendly too. I stayed at the Westin Hotel and it was about a 10 block walk (1 mile). My husband and I shared the Steeler breakfast plate and it was one of the best breakfests we had. It was a good thing we shared bc it came with 2 toasts, 2 (8") pancakes, 1 (5") sweet sausage, 2 slices bacon, home fries, 2 eggs. Every item was cooked perfect and the pancakes were the best I had at a restaurant, a bit crispy and fluffy inside. Too bad we were so full and couldn't finish the pancakes and toast. Everything else we finished with a smile. The portions are large. We had 2 cups of very good coffee and the Steeler special and our bill was $12. A bargain for all we had.
If I ever come back to Pittsburgh, I would go there again and try more of the resturants on the Strip District.
