Wow. So disappointed in Armis Salon. I purchased a Groupon for a mani pedi and was looking forward to some "me time". Clearly, the nail tech was not thrilled to have a Groupon client. She didn't talk to me at all. She answered my questions (designed to stimulate conversation) in short or one word answers. The salon area was dirty. Could be because the nail tech throws everything. Cotton balls blindly tossed into trash can located behind a station, tools tossed into a drawer or in the pedi bath, nail clippings & gel polish flakes tossed on the floor. She didn't even bother to wipe the debris off my chair before I sat down! The Zen chime music was a nice touch, except the salon simultaneously plays top 40. The space is small and not separate from the salon so I left with a head ache. The polish was so haphazardly applied, the nail tech had to use a paint brush with acetone to clean up all 20 of my nails. I have no less than 4 cuts from the cuticle trim. (Felt great on the freshly cut nail-bed wounds.) The front desk was apologetic & offered me a free service. However, I refused to accept it. I give them one star for the gesture. The thought of sitting through another tortuous session is not worth it. Already removed my nail polish as it smudged in my haste to get out of there.
