  • Long weekend away in the sun, turned out just okay. The hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport. Arrival was ok, front desk staff was pleasant and cordial. Casitas were nice with vaulted ceilings, and little patios off the back. Our kids saw quail, dove and a few bunnies. The view of Camelback from the pool is nice. The pool staff was nice, but very understaffed. It was 20-25 minutes for a cocktail or soda for the kids, dishes sat for hours uncleared. I have to say that I was expecting more.
