  • Jesus Christ this place is delicious! I thought it went beyond just "good, well executed dishes". They really did a great job using a lot of cool flavors. Mac n' Cheese: $12 - I loved it! They had little bits of garlic sprinkled on top which I've never seen before, but really livened it up. The pasta was cooked perfectly; a little al dente. The cheese was creamy and delicious. And they also had bits of shredded cheese sprinkled in that you'd get a taste of to provide some more variety. Butter Burger: $14 - My girlfriend got this; really, we shared both. She ordered it medium well and it came out moderately pink on the inside. Reading some other reviews, it seems that this is a consistent pattern. She liked it though, and so did I, so it's all good. The burger was juicy and delicious. It was served hot off the grill. I loved the cheese too; not overwhelming; just the right amount to balance the meat. My girlfriend loved the spicy tater tots. To me, they were the one thing there that was average. Bourbon Fudge Brownie: $8 - This desert was awesome. It had "brown butter bacon ice cream" and a really really rich brownie. I really liked the ice cream a lot. The brownie was good, but it was a bit too rich for me. I also like this sort of dish when the brownie is warm. I would have preferred if they have more ice cream and less brownie; I think what makes the dish is when you eat them together, and in this case the proportions were off. But that's nitpicking. It was great. Also, they weren't shy in about adding bacon! It was good, but it was also a little overwhelming to me. My girlfriend thought the bacon was just too much and picked it out. Other than the dishes, I thought the atmosphere was pretty cool. It was extremely extremely hipster. We sat at the bar and they have an open kitchen. I really liked that. I enjoy watching them cook. The service was good. Overall, I was really happy and am excited to go back to try new dishes. I thought the flavors were awesome. Most dishes were in the $10-20 price range - I would pay $30+ to eat here.
