Theresa was my server the last time I ate here. I had great service, their outfit is funny though because they look like gas station/mechanic attendants more than servers.
The one thing I don't like is how we're sat without being given a menu by the hostess. We sat there looking around until the server brought the menu to us. Both visits I had the grilled cheese, but I kept the butter from the bread and layered another butter layer on top of the grilled cheese and yum! The tomato side is alright but if it came with tomato soup, it'd be heavenly.
They were sold out of grilled artichokes both visit.
The meatloaf to me wasn't impressive, it sounded good being that it was wrapped in bacon but I'm not sure if it was undercooked or the simple ketchup smear over the top ruined it. My mashed potato seemed to be made fresh cause I had chunks, even half a potato inside. Mash mash mash more please. My second visit entree was the steak and potato, that was simple and good but it cost over $22.
I've had the strawberry shortcake and chocolate devil's food cake. I prefer the chocolate dish over the strawberry shortcake. The cake was almost as hard as the plate.
They were out of several drinks I really wanted but I settled for the Lips of Faith beer which was great tasting. I ordered it on my second visit and will probably order it again after that. For me though, personally, the pricing is just so high. Happy hour here is the way to go.
