Tiffany at Bank of America on Western Branch Blvd in Chesapeake, VA tried to hang up on me and disconnect my call when I asked for the number to the corporate office regarding an unsatisfactory safe deposit box issue. She said I was aggressive and yelling at her which was a flat out lie. I had her on speaker phone. She tried and failed to use that excuse and tactic because I was trying to hold her accountable and she couldn't answer my questions. I even taped part of the call. When I asked for the corporate number, she gave me a number and I realized it was back to customer service. When I told her, yet again, that that was the customer service number and they were useless to me and had transferred me to her, she told me to call them back and get a different rep. Why would I waste my time and do that? She tried to give me the number to customer service when I had repeatedly told her that customer service told me they could not help me and transferred me to her branch since my old box was located there. Then she gave me a number to a "marketing manager" when I again asked her for the number to the corporate office. B of A is not even my primary bank. The only reason I opened an account with them was because my boys were in college out of state and my credit unions were primarily local. I hardly keep any money in the account and was thinking about changing my direct deposit to them. Well, thanks, Tiffany. Not only will I not do that, I will not be using B of A for my next home purchase either as I had planned to do. You get better service with Navy Federal and Chartway Federal Credit Union. And Navy Federal does have some branches in Georgia. Avoid Bank of America and if you can't avoid them, at least avoid Tiffany.
