  • The atmosphere in this restaurant is warm and inviting, with authentic Turkish artwork and decorations plus beautiful lanterns creating a soft light and Turkish music (not too loud) on the speakers. The patio is equally pleasant in the summer months. There are typical Turkish and Mediterranean appetizers, entrees, and desserts on the menu, and everything I've tried on multiple visits has been delicious. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. But besides the great food and atmosphere, a visit to Istanbul Sofra will be truly memorable because of the exceptional service. The Turks are famous for their hospitality and that's demonstrated here by the owner and staff. As a guest you feel welcome and appreciated - more than just a paying customer but someone worth talking to and getting to know. The staff and management always seem to do a little extra to make the guests happy. There is even a customer loyalty program offering a chance to win a trip to Istanbul! I can definitely recommend this restaurant, especially if you want a unique and fun dining experience.
