| - Frappé, a (usually) espresso-based beverage blended with ice, is the cold drink of choice at this bustling coffee shop. I tried a no-whip Milano Frappe which had caramel as well. Delish and refreshing.
This place had a pretty crazy lineup. Lots of families and strollers. They take your order, you pay and then they bring it out to your table for you. I also got the spanakopita, which was warmed up, a very nice touch. The pastry was nice and flakey but the filling lacked flavour. I guess I should never order things my grandma makes because I will be disappointed, but for a suburban coffee shop, the spanakopita was good. Then again, I'm not all that impressed with the spanakopitas in the heart of Greektown in Toronto so maybe you should just ignore this part of my review.
Free wifi that works on the patio. There is some sort of square/plaza (in the Spanish sense) area here with benches, which is sort of like an extension of their patio. Even though it was so busy I was able to get some work done. A lovely older couple chatted me up a bit. They were very sweet. People are friendlier here than in Toronto. Interesting people watching, and the fresh air doesn't do much to dampen out all the interesting, gossip-filled conversations taking place.
I highly recommend this place for a refreshing frappe.
