I was glad to hear a new ramen/udon/soba/rice bowl place had opened in the Southwest part of Vegas. I ordered the chicken karaage and shrimp udon. I had one of my friend's gyoza and sampled the Spicy Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen.
Chicken Karaage was decent but I would have liked more seasoning. I hate to say this but I was really disappointed in my udon. The broth was too light & thin and had a weird, indescribable taste to it. I couldn't figure out what was in it or what was missing. I didn't care for the udon consistency either. I prefer the noodles to be chewy, soft, and thick. Sadly, I've had better $1 udon from the market. My husband said his ramen was just OK.
The service was good and the food came out in a reasonable manner. I didn't finish my udon and thought of driving to a fast-food joint after but decided to eat dessert at home instead. I'm not sure if I would return to try the other items. I'll read the reviews and see how things pan out.
