| - Even as a huge fan of meat eating, I have to say Chima is not worth the price. My girlfriend and I visited for restaurant week, and I feel it was barely worth the discounted $35 price. Yes, the meats were pretty good, but they were nothing outstanding and our experience as a whole was just average. The gauchos and servers were friendly, but the same meats kept going around, and we only tried 5-6 total during the entire night. (FYI all of the meats come around during restaurant week no matter what they say - the bacon wrapped filet was offered to us at least 5-6 times). We requested to try the parmesan pork loin at the end, and they brought it out after 4-5 minutes, but we were stuck eating the same few cuts of steak almost the entire night. The quality of the steak was solid overall, but my girlfriend and I both had bites that were almost pure fat that you couldn't tell before biting. The salad bar was very lackluster. Although it definitely wasn't lacking in quantity, my girlfriend and I found a few sides that were okay and none that we were huge fans of. A few of them were downright unpleasant in my opinion, like the chicken and potato salad that tasted way too much like lemon and nothing like chicken or potatoes.
At the end of the day, we left very full but a bit disappointed in the variety of meats and the overall quality, especially the salad bar and sides.
