  • I found this place on Yelp and now I will correct some misinformation. Violet Hour is not worth the money. I've never heard of paying $180 for a regular manicure and a regular pedicure. Regular polish. I cannot get over that. It doesn't matter that they used the best products in the world to massage my feet. They told me that a regular nail place wouldn't massage my feet the way they do and that's why they cost more. Let me tell you. I got my nails done at my salon at home (in Chicagoland) and it cost $25 (for just a manicure before tip) and they massaged my hands and forearms just fine. I think $25 is an expensive manicure. $180 is nuts. When I called to make the appointment they asked for my credit card number in case I didn't show up. I didn't think anything of it. They should have told me that it would cost $85 for my pedicure and $65 for the manicure and that they would include a 20% tip. They should have disclosed that. Get over yourself Violet Hour. You're not all that. I want my money back. P.S. There's a Yelp check-in offer for Champagne. They give you wine or Champagne anyway.
