  • If you are a woman, please take caution before coming here. The elderly gentleman is a master at what he does but he made me feel extremely uncomfortable and violated. Keep in mind that this business is run inside a cozy condominium unit. The elderly man is what you would expect, very polite, bald, grey haired with cute glasses. We chit chatted while he repaired my glasses and even offered to teach me how to make jewellery (their other business). I thought nothing of it. Once he finished with the repair, he told me that he wanted to show me something and took me into their tiny bathroom where he showed me how to use the flame torch to make jewellery. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and he was very hands on and touchy as the previous girl mentioned. He stood behind me and had his hands over mine - I was slow to react but I could not believe what was happening. When I paid and was about to leave, he gave me his cell phone number and asked me out for dinner repeatedly, emphasizing that I should text him instead of calling since he has his phone on silent. I got out of there quick. I admit I was dumb and naive but I honestly did not think someone so old would have such intentions running their business. When I came home, I realized that he had fixed my glasses but they were VERY crooked, and since I have astigmatism the glasses gave me a headache and made me dizzy. I dragged my male friend with me the following day and within 5 minutes, the elderly man adjusted my glasses PERFECTLY. This made me think that he repaired my glasses crooked intentionally so that I would return. I would highly recommend this place if you need to repair your glasses but DO NOT GO ALONE IF YOU ARE A FEMALE. Also, bring cash.
