| - Order:
- Hard Rock Hotel Breakfast
- Sweet Cream Pancakes w/ Blueberries
Service:
Server Name - Clay
Time - 12:45AM
Experience:
Our server Clay spoke at a very high obnoxious volume, He reminded me of a typical high school coach or an over ripen frat boy. It was very annoying trying to have an exchange.
When we gave our order, he didn't ask any of your basic questions, such as; 1.'What kind of bread would you like for your toast?', or 2.'How would you like your hash browns?'. When I ordered the pancakes, I mentioned WITH BLUEBERRIES. As soon as Clay heard the order, he immediately said 'Got it!!' and walked off.
Our food came out fairly quick, which was nice.
First, the HRH Breakfast plate; I received wheat bread and barely-brown hash browns, 2 yolks w/ 1 popped, and sausage & bacon. Had Clay of asked how I wanted my breakfast, I might have received sourdough toast and well done hash browns.
Secondly, the Sweet Cream Pancakes w/ Blueberries; I received plain pancakes with 3 pieces of A single 1 strawberry. When I reiterated what I ordered, the rebuttal I received was, "That's not what the ticket said". Server Clay comes back and we send it back.
Throughout our meal, we got checked on twice... TWICE. Clay would repeatedly walk right past our table to speak with a single(1) gentleman sitting at the table right next to us. It became very bothersome for our server to walk past our table with zero regard. I don't want to call it discriminatory, but it very much felt that way.
This was my first time coming to and eating at the Hard Rock, unfortunately it will also be my last.
