| - Stopped in here because every time I drive by that rainbow sign just jumps out at me. This is a small shop, and like most candy shops is crammed to the brim with sweet, sweet candy goodness.
Most of the candy that interests me is in bulk dispensers, arranged by price along the walls. You just mix bulk candy and they weigh it out. Tons of the usuals, some gluten free choices and some unique candies in there too. My main complaint is that getting the candy out of the dispensers is a bit cumbersome, you really have to work to get some of the gummies out. My other complaint is the price...these bulk beasts tend to add up quick - and when they dispense so oddly, you usually end up with more than you bargained for.
This place has a TON of pez candy dispensers. A whole wall, my friend was in awe of the selection - I'm not a huge pez fan but could still appreciate the vast amount of them. Would be handy to pick one up for a gift (stocking stuffer maybe?).
They also have ice cream or some kind of frozen treat. I didn't look to closely at it - it was a snowy day when we came in - but some others in the shop bought some, might be worth investigating.
The place is rather new, the lady working was super friendly and explained that they are still expanding their stock. I was looking for sours, my usual, and she mentioned I should come back soon as they were expecting some new ones in (lemonheads included!). The location of this place makes it handy for picking up some snacks before hitting a movie at chinook.
