| - I visited Tokyo Nail Art Bar on a Thursday afternoon. It is located in an outdoor area with multiple tiny shops. There was only one nail technician working when I arrived, Kita. She was with a customer and told me she would be available in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, they do not accept appointments, only walk ins. I came back after 30 minutes and she was available, they are great with estimating wait times here.
They do not do pedicures, only manicures. I chose two designs, one for my ring and one for my index fingers. There are a million designs to choose from (all over the walls of the shop)... picking my designs was the hardest part since I loved them all! They have basic metallic, Pokemon themed, Chanel themed, mermaid themed, Sailormoon themed.... the list goes on and on. Once I was ready with my choices, Kita was very detailed and thorough, she did not rush through my appointment despite having two other people waiting for manicures as well. Both of my designs had diamond stones and she carefully placed each stone, one by one, onto my nails with tweezers. Kita's artwork and ability to maneuver those tiny stones perfectly on my nails were impressive... it definitely takes alot of skill.
I would definitely come back here on my next trip to Vegas, so sad they don't have anything like this back home for me :( Kita did such an amazing job that almost a week later and all my nails are still intact :)
